Commercial constructionn contracts dropped 34 percentto $38.1 million from $58.2 million in May 2008. And residential contracts fell 47 percentyto $44.7 million from nearlyg $85 million. Year-to-date, locally, commercial contracts were down 28 percent from the first five monthe of last year and residential was down42 percent. In commercial contracts rose 90 percentyto $346.3 million from $182.4 milliojn in May 2008. But residential dropped 24 percentto $261.2 million from $343.
