A group of 17 organizations representing a diverse mix ranginhfrom retailers, bankers and Realtords to farmers, roofers and truckers are askingy state lawmakers to supporty a number of initiative s to stimulate the state's economy. Those initiatives, for whic h costs have yet to be calculated, "Florida and the rest of the country are in aneconomidc trough, and in order for Florida to be one of the firstt states out of that trough, we need our leaders to act said Barney Bishop, president of Associated industries of one of the 17 groups backing the recommendations.
