Encinitas, Calif.-based Verve is initiating partnerships with MediaNews as well as otheenewspaper companies: The Hearst Corp., a minority owner of the Post and most other MediaNewsd newspapers, as well as Belo Corp. and Cox . Verve's business is building mobile sitedsfor newspapers. Its CEO, Art is a 30-year newspaper veteran who won a Pulitze Prize in 1986 as a reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer for his articles on the Internal Revenue Verve already is working with the Associateds Press news service as well asMcClatchyt Co., New York Times Regional Group and Media Mediaweek said.
